The actual outer diameter of the 36" MARs Wok Grate is 30". For this reason, it is necessary to use the 36" MARs Ring to fit this MARs Wok Grate onto the Fire Pit. Please see the note on the product listing: "Please select the MARs™ size that corresponds to your Fire Pit. Size listed is not actual diameter of the Steel Wok Grate."
